The saga of the brand started in 1924, in Cienfuegos, one of Cuba's main harbours. Agustin Quintero and his brother built a cigar factory which soared in 1940 with the help of the elder brother, and became Quintero y Hermano. Spain was its main market. These Habanos with short filler had been machine rolled since the 1980s, but they are now hand rolled again. It is worthy to notice that these cigars, though hand-rolled cigars, remain inexpensive. Those looking for complexity will not take to the brand, but these are very affordable cigars.
