Martinique rhum
Trois Rivières Cask Strengh 8 years
Bottle of 0.5 L
Presentation
The Trois Rivières plantation came into being in 1660 when Nicolas Fouquet, Superintendent of Finances to Louis XIV, was granted 2000 hectares of land in the south of the island, the largest ever plot of land granted in the West Indies. This Cask Strength 55.5% vintage is the successful combination of the power of rum and exceptional smoothness taken from Missouri oak. The nose of the rum is highly dense and complex, and exotic wood mixes with touches of mild tobacco and macerated fruit. On the palate, the flavours are primarily of honey, gingerbread and liquorice. The final taste is soft and fresh. A great success for this 2006 vintage.
