Scotch Whisky
Bruichladdich Bere Barley 2008
Bottle of 0.7 L
Presentation
The whisky is produced by growing it under windy and rainy conditions and drying the peat used for the malt. This whisky is made from Bere, one of the oldest barley varieties still in existence. This single malt distilled in 2008 is slightly less peaty than its octomore siblings (40 ppm). A honey soft texture, a rich and deep malt and a fairly dry finish with oak and honeysuckle notes.
