The Alpinte Eiger collection is a new creation. It is inspired by the mountain of the same name, located in the Bernese Oberland range, next to the peaks of Mönch and Jungfrau. This mountain is famous for its north face, an impressive vertical wall nearly 1800 meters high. It was long considered one of the major challenges of the Alps. It was only in 1938 that climbers managed to climb it for the first time.
The Alpinte Eiger collection is available in three sizes: On the Rocks (1,034 dl), Half-Pinte (3,355 dl), and Pinte (3,967 dl). Each glass features a discreet screen print indicating its capacity in reference to the key altitudes of the mountain climb: the village of Grindelwald (1,034 m), the Mittellegi hut (3,355 m), and the summit (3,967 m).
The whisky and cocktail glasses are mouth-blown and feature an ultra-realistic representation of the Eiger. The whisky glass measures 75 mm in diameter, 85 mm in height, and holds 2 dl, while the beer glass measures 75 mm in diameter, 125 mm in height, and holds 3.3 dl.
It is recommended to hand wash these glasses to preserve their quality.
Each glass is unique as it is handcrafted.
